Fede Valverde from Real Madrid has
caught the attention of Liverpool

Towards the end of the recent transfer window, Jurgen Klopp had made it clear that they were done with their signings. Klopp stated that they were glad for the team they had built by signing a decent number of players.

However, as the transfer window was almost at the end of its period, Klopp changed his statement. He stated that he was not sure if their company wanted to add more players or not.

Jurgen Klopp is Eyeing Fede Valverde

Turns out, Jurgen Klopp already had his eyes set upon a player from Real Madrid before the recent window ended.

The reports have now started to come out about the club’s growing interest in Fede Valverde from Real Madrid. Jurgen Klopp has his eyes on the player as the manager wants to add the 24-year-old Uruguay to his midfield.

This proves that Jurgen Klopp believes that their club still needs improvements and that midfield is where they lack. The club wants to revamp its strength and especially, bring more power to the midfield.

Liverpool Failed to Sign Aurelien Tchouameni

In the recent transfer window, the club wanted to bring in Aurelien Tchouameni, a 22-year-old French defensive midfield player from Monaco. The player is now part of Real Madrid and he has already made 5 appearances for the Spanish club.

The club failed to sign the French player and thus, he was not made part of the team.

Liverpool has Identified Valverde

According to confirmed reports coming from Liverpool, Valverde has been recognized as the man to bolster the team’s performance.

It is confirmed that Liverpool will definitely be attempting to sign the player as the transfer window opens in January of 2023.

Liverpool was ready to pay £85 Million

According to reports, Liverpool had agreed to pay a huge fee for signing Valverde. As per inside reports, Liverpool was ready to sign him even at a transfer fee of £85 million.

However, Real Madrid had just finalized their deal with Manchester United to send Casemiro to Old Trafford.

Therefore, the club was not ready to part ways with rising talent in their team so the deal never materialized.

As the deal never worked, Liverpool had to go with their next option. Therefore, the club signed Arthur Melo, who was playing at Juventus.

Still, the club has the interest in approaching Real Madrid again for Valverde because they’ve signed Melo on a short-term deal.
